Augusta Township is one of the fourteen townships of Carroll County, Ohio.  The 2000 census found 1,599 people living in Augusta Township.

Carroll County lies upon an ancient trail connecting the forks of the Ohio with Lake Erie and the inland plains.  It is a short drive from Akron, Canton, Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh and Wheeling.
