Christine Dolven Wagner has provided the Augusta Cemetery website with
many wonderful, priceless, photographs of the Manfull family. Christine is
the
2nd Great-Granddaughter of
Jehu and
Mary Manfull and the
Great-Granddaughter of
Thomas Crawford and
Angie Manfull Crawford Heston.
She is the Granddaughter of Iva Crawford Sturges and the Daughter of Mary
Sturges Dolven.
These photographs were located in the home occupied by Christine's mother and
grandmother. Christine's great-grandmother, Angie Manfull Crawford Heston,
who is the daughter of Jehu and Mary Rowley Manfull, also lived in this house in
her final years. Some of these photos have inscriptions on the back, but
others do not.
Christine isn't absolutely certain as to the identity of some of
these people. There are also people in these photos that we
aren't able to identify at all. If you are able to identify
anyone in the following pictures, or if you notice we have
misidentified someone, please e-mail us at either

Eventually, as time permits, we will also be posting these photos to
individual Photo Albums, which can be accessed from a Resident's
individual page. But for now we wanted to get them all posted
in one place to make it easier for people to view them. It is
our hope some of you will be able to identify a lot of these people.

These photos represent a history that, unless preserved, is slowly
fading away. They are a tremendous addition to this website
and we are extremely grateful to have permission to post them here
for all to enjoy.
