On July 2, 2007 the tombstones of Jehue and Mary Manfull were dug
up and reset on new foundations. The family of
Nova Manfull Nixon
commissioned Patton's Memorials to do the work.
This is a wonderful improvement to the Augusta Cemetery and is
greatly appreciated. The stones had no foundation and were
sinking. We have a cemetery full of disappearing history - so we
are heartened that these two Cemetery Residents and
Augusta pioneers will continue to be remembered for a long time.
